Is it just me?

Everyday is a great day to be on this side of the sod, but I have to ask you, are you feeling run down from this balancing act?

“Getting worn out and run down robs you of receiving what you need from the universe”

I would always push past those feelings and in honesty, I never took time to learn to honour the early signals. That lead to breakdown, physically, mentally and spiritually.

Now I pay attention, I’m still working on the constant discipline to slow down and honour the signals.

The cycles of the weather, the changing of the seasons, a global pandemic, world injustices, the energy of those around us locally, can all impact our energy. The weight of the world is on many of our shoulders (on many levels) and our connection to the current cycle of the moon is an amplifier. Back in early June, a full moon and lunar eclipse, followed by a Solar Eclipse two weeks later, follower by ANOTHER full moon and Lunar Eclipse two weeks after that did throw a monkey wrench into things for many of us.

So, when you feel off, when that weight is really bearing down and holding you back from your potential, note to self, it isn't always JUST us that us off.

Observe and investigate a little but in a loving, curious and non judgmental way.

When you do feel off, pause, observe, take a deep breath. Then try doing the above and then, what I have typed below. Boy have I ever learned and the hard way to stop and listen and to give myself credit.

I communicated my realizations with myself first and then my family, that this week, I’m slowing down and needing support so that I can get back to my best self. Utilizing my tools, with some loving self discipline to actually use them. (Another key element)

☄️It takes courage, it takes self love, it takes tough self love, maybe some tears, communication and a commitment to holding safe and healthy boundaries for ourselves

I want to be at my be at my best for the long haul, how about you??

I am loving being back to work to help others with this, as well to be sure to take my own prescription for this ailment.

️Rest, water, rest, less work, saying no, resisting old unhelpful patterns, using my self care tools and ...nature.

Great news is, supporting yourself includes utilizing the help of professionals :)
